PMA development
From unsupported requirement to controlled product.
Customers can bring Blacklight Aerospace an identified part, assembly relationship, support problem, demand picture, and whatever samples or technical data are available. The intake becomes an internally tracked engineering candidate.
Feasibility
Establish effectivity, source-data quality, commercial need, and technical path.
Definition
Develop controlled design data, material/process requirements, and supplier controls.
Approval
Perform the analysis, conformity, inspection, and testing appropriate to the approval basis.

If the part is not listed, submit a PMA product request. The request captures the configuration and demand information needed for an initial screening without implying that Blacklight has accepted the project or that FAA approval already exists.
